As May approaches, RV Select is thrilled to be a sponsor for the 2016 Miles for Moffitt event once again. In its 11th year, this exciting fundraiser draws walkers and runners to participate in the fight against cancer by helping Moffitt Cancer Center with its mission to prevent and find a cure for this disease. No matter how you’ve been touched by cancer, please join Moffitt Cancer Center and RV Select in supporting this worthy cause.
This year’s event will take place on May 14th at the University of South Florida Sun Dome in Tampa, Florida. 100 percent of all registration fees and funds support research projects and Moffitt’s mission. Last year’s event drew nearly 7,000 participants and raised more than $600,000. You can choose to run or walk the 1, 5, 10, or 15K races. There will also be a Wheelchair Race and a Kids Dash so that the entire family can participate in this fun-filled, important day. Run, walk, donate, volunteer, or just come out to show your support – and don’t forget to look for the RV Select vehicle that will be helping out with the event!
