Known as the country’s largest RV show, the Florida RV SuperShow rolls back into Tampa, FL, this month for five fun-filled days of RV-related excitement. In its 32nd year and sponsored by the Florida RV Trade Association, the SuperShow won’t disappoint attendees with its lineup of vendors, dealers, exhibitions, seminars, entertainment, and more to keep guests busy from morning to evening.
But if you’ve never been to the SuperShow, you need to be properly prepared before you attend. So, to help you get pumped for your visit, check out the five things you should know about this year’s show:
- Pay once, get in twice – Purchase one adult ticket for $10 and access all that the show has to offer. Come back for a second day with your ticket and enter the show for free! Admission is free for children under 16, but parking costs $6 for cars and $12 for RVs.
- Use the trams – Spread across 26 acres at the Florida State Fairgrounds, the show covers a massive territory. Unless you really like walking, you may want to take advantage of the trams that the FRVTA offers, both in the parking lot and inside the exhibition hall. Save your feet and take a tram when you can. But be sure to still wear comfortable shoes for the day – you’ll be glad you did!
- Attend seminars – From seminars on “Basic RV Maintenance” to “Extended and Full Time RVing,” this year’s SuperShow offers up a wealth of information from RV experts throughout each day. Take the time to attend one or more seminars and expand your knowledge about RV ownership and travel.
- See what more than 450 vendors have to offer – Whether you’re interested in parts and accessories for your rig or scheduling your next vacation at campgrounds across America, you’ll find all the products and services you could ever want or need at the SuperShow.
- View, buy, or sell an RV – Perhaps one of the most exciting opportunities available to attendees of this and every SuperShow is the ability to see more than 1,400 different RVs from dealers across the nation. If one strikes your fancy and meets your specific budget and needs, you can buy it that day. Financing is often available for qualified buyers. Or, if you’re looking to upgrade or downgrade from your current rig, you can sell it at the show, too.
And this is just the tip of the iceberg. There’s plenty more to see and do at the 2017 Florida RV SuperShow, including camping on-site (spots are limited), sampling food, and enjoying daily entertainment. It’s even a great place to bring the kids – on the weekend, the Kid’s Zone opens up, featuring games, bounce houses, and even a rock climbing wall.
The SuperShow is great time for all ages, so mark the dates on your calendar and plan to head over to the Florida State Fairgrounds this month. You won’t regret it!
