So, what’s the difference between a standard park and a luxury resort? The resorts:

Are often more expensive – A standard RV park will run you anywhere from $25 to $80 per night, depending on many factors, such as the time of year, the location of the site (is it near water or tucked back into the trees?), and whether hookups are available at your chose site. A luxury park, however, could cost you $70 to $100 per night or more in season. Some rates can be as high as $500 per night! Additionally, RV resorts may have a minimum night stay requirement.
Have extensive amenity offerings – At an RV resort, you’ll find much more than the pool, hookups, and bathrooms found at a standard RV park. Instead, you’ll get clubhouses, golf courses, fire pits for the entire community, private grills, gyms, spas, and so much more. The RV sites at resorts are often larger and offer more privacy to RVers, too.
Offer many activities – You may be able to find a recreation room at a standard RV park, but a luxury resort will likely offer countless activities to keep you and your family entertained. Think tennis, bocce ball, and community events, among other activities.
Have gorgeous views – While there are countless RV parks and state parks across the county with wonderful vistas for you to enjoy, luxury camping resorts are going to have views that knock your socks off. The landscaping at RV resorts is typically lush and elaborate as well, providing a beautiful setting for guests.
Are usually exclusive – There are some restrictions that some RV resorts maintain that standard parks don’t, such as only allowing Class A motorhomes and motorcoaches.
